A Cocktail of Dissapointment, Hilarity and Cuteness

As you all know, or maybe you don't cause your a casual reader (you know who you are), I spent my day in Ballroom 20 yesterday waiting for the Futurama Panel. The cool thing is I got to sit through the Family Guy and Cleveland Show panels, which were sweet. Family Guy was very funny and showed ten minutes of the Empire Strikes Back Special, very funny!, and the Cleveland show might be good, but it looks sketchy to me.

After these two panels my excitement overcame me because Futurama is my favorite cartoon and included Billy West, Maurice LeMarche and John DiMaggio, who are some of my voice acting heros, and Katey Segal who I will marry someday (its not creepy we've been discussing it, we both thing its not the right time in her career). However, because Fox is in negotiations with the cast about what they are willing to pay them, the actors weren't at Con this year. I heard this announcement and almost cried. The writers were still funny, and told us about episode ideas for the new season, but you could see they were a bit weighed down. I left after Futurama because I was paneled out, and too dissapointed to watch The Simpsons, though it is also a phenominal show.

But to make this better I will add a picture of something I saw in line yesterday. This is the cutest thing I've seen at Con and makes me feel better, and hopefully will be less of a downer for you guys.


I call them the Mini Marios and they are ADORABLE!
